Brigham Young University Established in 1888, and was first opened to the name Bannock Stake Academy.

This academy grow and mature over the next few decades. The curriculum and the name changed more than once. 

The following year Brigham Young University was renamed Ricks College, respected institution that laid the foundation for BYU-Idaho.
