Cameron University

Cameron University Established in 1909, the first class was held on November 16, 1909, in the basement of a bank building while a new campus was built.

Cameron University added a junior college in 1927. And in the same year of high school programs are held, and Cameron became a junior college.

Baccalaureate degree was approved in 1966 by the regents oklahoma state.
Institution name shortened to Cameron College in 1971, and later became Cameron University in 1974.

In 1988, the State Regents Cameron extend the functionality to include a master's degree. Change the function is first given to the institution Oklahoma since Cameron was given the authority to offer a bachelor's degree more than 20 years earlier.
In May 2004, Duncan higher education center in Duncan, Oklahoma, became an official branch campus and renamed Cameron University - Duncan.

Cameron University is committed to providing quality education to the students qualified faculty. Class size provides an environment in which learning and student success is the highest priority.
